Welcome to Missions at Sturbridge Worship Center!

We are glad you found us. At Sturbridge Worship Center we place a high value on the importance of active mission work.  Alongside worship and prayer, the Bible, fellowship and discipleship, mission is at our core.  We invest a large portion of our time and resources into expanding God’s kingdom through global mission work. I hope the information found in this section will encourage and inspire you in your own interest in mission. NATIONS WE WORK IN

Over the years Sturbridge Worship Center has been blessed to work in a number of different nations. Below you will find a list of the nations we most frequently work in. Please contact us if you have any interest in supporting or joining one of our teams.

HAITI
The distance between Haiti and the U.S. is a short few hundred miles – yet the standard of living couldn’t be further apart. Rocked by instability, corruption, a poor economy, and a lack of infrastructure, Haiti is the most devastated of countries in the western hemisphere. But in the midst of that diagnosis, God is doing great things.
Since 2003 Sturbridge Worship Center has been privileged to be in relationship with Lex and Renee Edme, founders of the Mission of Hope in Haiti. On average we have been sending two teams per year to facilitate the work of the Mission. This has included teaching at the Mission’s bi-annual teaching and leadership conferences, construction work on mission facilities, food distribution, medical clinics, orphanage support, and children’s ministry.  Please visit this link to support a child or learn more about the Mission of Hope: www.missionofhopehaiti.net Or join us for an upcoming trip to Haiti and find out just why we love the people of Haiti so much.

TANZANIA
Sturbridge Worship Center has been working in Tanzania since 2007. Our primary host is Rev. Pastory Hosea Bisoma, Missions Coordinator for the Evangelistic Assemblies of God Tanzania (EAGT). Our work in Tanzania has included a humanitarian focus – medical clinics, children’s ministry, support for orphans/widows and those plighted with HIV/AIDS medical issues and social stigma. We have also focused on building up the church (across denominations) through leadership training conferences, Bible teaching, preaching, and deliverance, prophetic and prayer ministry.

BELGIUM
Our ministry in Belgium is diverse.  Ranging from construction projects, to evangelism, to teaching and ministering in the prophetic, to counseling churches and children’s ministry, Sturbridge Worship Center has been investing in Belgium since 1999. The main church we work through is Jesus is the Living Water, a church for all nations, led by Pastor Mieke Vandenberghe. Their website is: www.jezuslevendwater.be/

GERMANY
Our main point of contact is a church in the north of Germany in Flensburg – Christliches Zentrum Nordlicht (CZN), lead by Pastor Ralf Preuss. Through the network of growing relationships over the last 12 years, ministry has expanded to various locations in the nation. With a focus on worship, ministry, prophetic and healing, teaching, children’s ministry, leadership training and church counsel, God has continued to breath upon our partnership in Germany with in an increase in hunger, passion, and fruit.
